Rubber corner guards – corners’ best friends

Ever saw something colorful fitted around a corner in an establishment?

Chances are you spotted a corner guard. A corner guard, as is clear from the term itself, protects a corner from unexpected collisions from vehicles.

Corners guards are built from different materials, such as rubber and vinyl. Rubber corner guards are particularly very popular amongst buyers because of their lightness and durability.

Modern day companies leverage on technology and better materials to come up with a breadth of corner guards to cater to different markets.

The guards are mainly found in basements, factories, and parking lots. They are fitted around the corners, which are more likely to get hit by moving vehicles.

When a corner is protected by a powerful guard, it doesn’t get damaged when a mini-van or truck runs into it due to the carelessness of the driver or for some other reason. The guard absorbs much of the shock and thus ends up saving the corners from damage.

Though rubber corner guards do not cost much and can be easily moved or removed, they prove extremely beneficial. Imagine the loss when a truck or min-van hits a column, which is not protected by a guard. Apart from the damage to the column, the driver of the vehicle may also get hurt.
