Tackling traffic jams and all that mismanagement

Delhi is home to culture, street food, the latest in fashion, and traffic jams. Traffic jams. Phew. You will be lucky to have a day out on a road that isn’t being strangulated by hundreds of cars, bikes, cycles, and trucks.

Now there isn’t much that Delhi government and traffic police can do about people who’re getting mad after new makes of cars and bikes – but what it can essentially do is to make roads safer. And the authorities have plenty of choices.

First things first, it can educate people to drive responsibility. TV, radio, and mobile campaigns can be introduced. Now that people are increasingly getting addicted with apps like What’s App, the authorities can tap onto these apps to make people aware of how to make roads safe and what to do when someone gets injured.

Other important improvements include introduction of better traffic control and parking management products since parking lots are also becoming another major concern for the people of the city and authorities involved.

The companies that manufacture traffic safety products are employing high-end manufacturing technologies to manufacture durable, affordable and aesthetically appealing traffic and parking management products including traffic safety mirrors. The authorities should make regular investments in the latest and high quality traffic safety products so that public money is spent wisely.
