How can you make your neighbourhood safer for your kids?

Our lives revolve around our kids, right?

And as parents, it is our job to provide them an environment wherein they can grow to their best potentials.

It gives me immense pleasure when I see parents spending a great amount of time and resources to see that their kids are going to the best schools of the city, and that they’re learning not just from books but from events and people around.

We can make it all a little better – by making our neighborhoods safer and better. And here in this post, I’ll be talking about the rash driving in and around your neighbourhood. These are fools that you will never be able to convince to drive responsibly and there’s no point messing with them. But this doesn’t mean you should not and cannot do something about it. You certainly can. The road safety and traffic cones manufacturers have a lot to offer when it comes to making roads safer in residential areas.

Speed breakers are probably the best option to go for to slow down speedy vehicles that take the life out of you. Built of high quality materials, these breakers are easy to install on roads and last for years.

To ensure that your kids never get injured, you can install security gates. This one single act will stop most of these people in driving in and around your home and neighbourhood.

If there’re bends in your locality that increase the likelihood of collisions, you can install safety measures like convex mirrors. Install them at strategic locations so that drives could see what’s coming from the other side.

Last, but not the least, you can install security cameras in and around your home so that any unwanted entry can be detected and action can be taken in a timely manner. These cameras do not cost much – some companies even let you pay for the cameras in easy installments.

I’m done for this post – but stay tuned for my upcoming posts that will revolve around convex mirror suppliers, traffic cones manufacturers, tips to make roads safer, etc. If you have something up on your mind or would like to share your views on this post, please drop me a comment.

How to get the best discounts on traffic cones purchases?

Every year or so, you buy traffic cones. And you buy in bulk. When you buy, you have certain things up on your mind: you want quality traffic ones and you want them as cheap as possible.

You’ve been in the industry for years. And you know the traffic cones suppliers. But what if I tell you there’re ways you can get a little more out of your purchases? Interested in getting some discounts, some more benefits? Read on then.

  • Give a little shock (a very little shock) to your traffic cones suppliers
See you’ve been buying from them for years. And chances are they’ve taken you for granted. You need to tell them in a very gentle manner that you’re their valued customer and that you can move away if you find better deals elsewhere.

I understand you’ve relationships with them that are running for years. But at the end of the day, it’s about business and profits.

So surprise them a little. They might offer you a better deal.

  • Reach out to some more, some traffic cones manufacturers in India
For years, you’ve bought from these suppliers only. You should probably try to reach out to some new companies that are into manufacturing and supplying of cones.

They might have better products at lower prices. There’s no harm in trying. Try finding them online. Or ask someone in your professional network. It shouldn’t take you long to get to know a couple of other suppliers in the market.

  • Be a master negotiator
Negotiation pays no matter who you are, where you are, and what you do. It pays when practiced and tried the right way.

Negotiation doesn’t mean one party winning and one party losing. Negotiation means winning for both the parties. Read some books on negotiation. Take up a course in persuasive skills. And then try them out on your traffic cones suppliers. You’d be surprised with the results! Just make sure you know the limits and do not go overboard.

Traffic cones have been in existence for long – of late, companies have begun to use whole new materials or combination of materials to manufacture their range of traffic cones. The new technology ensures that the cones score high on visual appeal, and also turn out extremely durable. However, no two suppliers might produce same quality of cones – and therefore, the buyers need to be a little more careful while buying cones, especially when they’re buying the first time from a supplier.

We’re running a series of articles on traffic cones and everything traffic safety related. We’d love to have you with us in this journey with your feedback and queries. Whether you wish to know more about the leading traffic cones suppliers in India or across the country or want to read about the technology behind traffic cones, we’ll tell you it all here.
